I’m really looking forward to seeing the Ken Burns documentary “The Central Park Five.” The documentary airs tonight on local PBS stations at 9pm. Click here for air times in your area.
The documentary examines the 1989 case of five black and Latino teenagers who were convicted of raping a white woman in Central Park. Those young men spent between 6 and 13 years each in prison. Sometime later it was discovered that a serial rapist was responsible and had confessed to the crime.
Last week The Daily Show host Jon Stewart talked to Burns about the documentary that begins airing this week. Check out the interview below.
