While cleaning out my closet early this morning I found my 1996 Montreal Jazz Festival tee-shirt. The shirt was given to all of the members of the NCCU Jazz Band who travelled to Switzerland and performed that year. As always the shirt was too small and ended up in my “one day I will wear it” section of my closet. Over the years the shirt ended up being a constant reminder of good days in the band, a great trip to Switzerland but also a feeling that I was once again not able to wear what everybody else could. Fast forward 16 years and at this point of my #weightloss journey I can finally wear a shirt that was too small so many years ago. Looking forward to what comes next. #exercise #medifast #determination #nccu #jazz
